Finished Shawl

I've just finished making this shawl......final width is 62" across. I just love this shawl and might make another one for a sister whose birthday is next month. I'll be sending this to Lynlee once I get her mailing address. :-))))))

  • That's beautiful, Jackie! You do really wonderful work.

You know, with Photobucket hosting your pics, you could turn these oversized pics into clickable thumbnails and then it would pull your right column back up in line. Didn't know if you knew that.

I love reading what you're doing next!

  • Thanks, Karla! Er, how do I turn these pictures into thumbnails?

  • 1. Go to your Photobucket account.
    2. Find the picture you want to thumbnail (the shawl in this case).
    3. Click on the blank little square/box underneath the picture so that a check mark appears.
    4. Go to the bottom of your Photobucket page and click on the button that reads "Generate HTML and IMG code".
    5. It will then give you a window with several code boxes to choose from. I use the first box of code. Click on the text in that first box and it all should highlight.
    6. Hit the "Ctrl" and "C" keys on your keyboard to copy this code.
    7. Go to your post on Blogger and "Edit" the post with your shawl pictured.
    8. Place the code in that post where you want the thumbnail to show up by hitting the "Ctrl" and "V" keys (to paste).
    9. Then you can preview your post to see if it looks like you want. If it does, be sure and delete the code in your post for the bigger-sized picture and then publish it so that the thumbnail and the oversized picture aren't both in your post!

Hope this helps! You can email me personally at TCsGirl{at}aol{dot}com if you have any questions. I'll be happy to help. I was so glad when someone told me how to thumbnail pictures with Photobucket! So I'll pass the info along! :)
